To me fitness is about discovering new activities I can accomplish and enjoy. As an instructor I hope to help others relish activity in the same way. I've taught running classes, boot camps, kickboxing, and power yoga over the past 5 years. I've participated in multiple ashtanga and power yoga workshops and studied with various teachers. Through my own yoga practice I've learned to be strong while remaining peaceful. I've learned to be kind to my body and mind while persevering. I've learned to challenge myself while letting my ego fall away. I hope to convey these lessons in my class and create an environment where you can defy your limits - both physically and mentally. I hope to provide an atmosphere where you feel free to let all external distractions fall away by focusing your energy on the awesome things your body can do.
